Gibson Musical Instruments secured REG for venue management and entertainer relations. The venue management agreement assigned REG to re-launch the Gibson Beale Street Showcase Lounge.
Within the first year of the arrangement, REG secured over 30 touring bands and booked numerous events presented by outside promoters.
Today, the Gibson Beale Street Showcase Lounge presents weekly entertainment-based events for private and public audiences. Recently, the venue presented Gretchen Wilson, Todd Snider, Jon Cleary, Lez Zeppelin, Oteil & the Peacemakers, Jimmy Herring, The Lee Boys, and Ralph Stanley.
REG's entertainer relations agreement gives partners Paul Chandler and Howard Stovall official titles as Gibson Entertainer Relations Consultants for Memphis. In 2008, the city will host the Gibson Guitar Town program, and REG and its parters will work with area business and government officials to facilitate the event.
